Chennai: Noted Carnatic singer K J Yesudas was felicitated on Saturday by Tamil Isai Sangam for his contribution to the field of music. Yesudas has been performing at the Sangam's concert every year since 1989 on a fixed date: December 28.P.R. Gokulakrishnan, president of the sangam, felicitated him with a shawl and a silver plaque.The Tamil Music College run by the Sangam was given a donation of Rs 1 crore by industrialist A C Muthiah.
