New Delhi Apr 3: Sikkim's annual plan for the year 2013-14 has been fixed at Rs 2060 crore today.
The Annual Plan was finalised at a meeting here on Wednesday between Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia and Chief Minister Pawan Chamling in Yojna Bhawan.
Chamling said Sikkim's growth rate current and constant prices showed a tremendous increase of 31.19 percent and 20.53 percent respectively during 11th five year plan.
The per capita income in Sikkim at current and constant price in the beginning of 11th five year plan was Rs 42,693 and Rs 37,108 which increased to Rs 132,632 and Rs 83,565 respectively in the year 2011-12.
Chamling said only 13.1% of population in Sikkim is living below poverty level as against the national average of 29.8%.
