At least four terrorists were killed during an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir in the wee hours of Monday. According to the details, the encounter was reported from South Kashmir's Manihal area. All the slain terrorists were associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba
Earlier a firefight between terrorists and security forces started on Sunday night after security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation on the basis of specific information about the presence of terrorists.
As the security forces zeroed in on the spot where terrorists were hiding they came under a heavy volume of fire that triggered the encounter.
