Mumbai: Indrani Mukerjea, Prime accused in Sheena Bora murder case, has stunned everyone by claiming that her daughter is still alive and is living in the United States.
According to an NDTV report, Indrani has told Mumbai Police during interrogation that Sheena is not dead and is staying in the US where she had shifted in 2012 for higher studies.
24-year-old Sheena was allegedly killed by Indrani, her second husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai on April 242012.
Yesterday, a Mumbai court had extended the police custody of the trio till September 5.
Meanwhile, Siddharth Das, who is said to be the first husband of Indrani, has confirmed that he is the biological father of deceased Sheena and Mikhail Bora.
The case is getting murkier with each passing day due to its twists and turns and shocking revelations.
