Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are not exactly anxious to be seen together in public. A media report says both the stars were invited to Rajasthan Tourism Minister Bina Kak's daughter's wedding, but they attended the ceremony separately.
Jaipur's powerful politician and part-time actress Bina Kak, who played Salman's bossy mother in Katrina Kaif 's ‘debut' film Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya (her actual debut being Kaizad Gustad's Boom), had become genuinely fond of both stars during the shooting. So for her daughter Amrita's wedding, Bina enthusiastically invited Salman and Katrina.
But people's excitement at the thought of seeing the couple sing and dance together for three days of festivities was short-lived in Jaipur.
For Katrina and Salman decided to attend the wedding on separate days. While she flew into Jaipur on Thursday afternoon in time for the mehendi, Salman is slated to attend the reception tonight. Kat flew out of Jaipur before Salman's arrival to attend a Raajneeti promotional event in Delhi.
