No one found found guilty in the Ruchika molestation case would be spared irrespective of his position or status, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda asserted on Saturday .
The law would take its own course in the case, he told reporters in Sirsa.
The state government had recommended transfer of fresh FIRs filed in the case to the CBI for investigations, the Chief Minister said.
On the demand of Ruchika's family, a case under section 306 IPC (abetment to suicide) had been registered against former Haryana DGP S P S Rathore, he said.
"Now the law will take its own course," said Hooda, on a three-day tour of Ellenabad constituency in the district where a bypoll will be held on January 20.
Rathore was awarded a mild six-month jail term by a CBI court on December 21 for molesting Ruchika, a budding tennis player, in 1990 when he was an IGP. PTI
