Aligarh, May 18: Samajwadi Party MLA Bhagwan Sharma alias Guddu Pandit on Friday whipped out his pistol at Aligarh district BJP chief Devraj Singh in a case of road rage, leading to a noisy drama at the local police station.
The MLA along with his carcade overtook the BJP leader's car, stopped, and then whipped out his pistol at Devraj Singh, threatening to kill him. The MLA alleged that the BJP leader was not allowing his carcade to overtake his vehicle.
The incident took place on Ramghat Road in Kwarsi police station area near Aligarh.
As news spread, BJP workers came to the police station and shouted slogans demanding arrest of the SP MLA.
SSP Aligarh Amit Pathak said, an FIR has been registered based on the complaint by the BJP leader. So far, no action has been taken against the ruling party MLA.
