Remembering major terror attacks on Anti Terrorism Day

New Delhi: The death anniversary of ex-prime minister of India, Shri Rajiv Gandhi is also observed as Anti Terrorism Day all over the country on 21 May.  Terrorism, the most heinous crime by the mankind



November 26-29, 2008: Mumbai. Armed terrorists opened fire at eight different sites in a coordinated attack killing 173 and injuring 327. They wielded automatic weapons and attacked locations including a train station, hotels, restaurants, a police station, and a hospital. Some terrorists took hostages and high military grade explosives (RDX) were found nearby; at least eight explosions were reported.
