The girl, Rati Tripathi has finally woken up from coma after more than two months of the incident. She is still weak and can not speak clearly but she successfully communicates with her family with murmuring words.
A manager with a Delhi tutorial institute, Rati was traveling to Ujjain to vist her family. The 29 year old girl was robbed of her valuables and thrown out of the moving train by few assailants.

So weak is her voice that she reminds her mother of her infant daughter. Her mother Mithya Tripathi said, “She's just like my two-year-old Rati”.
Mahendranath Tripathi, father of Rati, thanked the doctors for the miracle. Dr. Nitin Garg of Bansal Hospital, where she's being treated told a leading daily that her memory is intact and in a few months she will be able to recall everything.
