Srinagar, May 28: It's raining and snowfall in parts of Kashmir valley due to a western disturbance from Rajasthan.
Snowfall was reported from the higher reaches of Drass, holy Amarnath cave, Razdan Pass, Pir Panjal range and areas close to Line of Control, while in the valley, several towns experienced intermittent rain.
People in Srinagar and Pahalgam who were enjoying summer had to take out their woollen clothes due to sudden chill in the weather.
A large number of tourists flocked to Dal lake in Srinagar to enjoy the change in weather.
Authorities in Baramulla have issued a flood alert and schools were closed as a precautionary measure.
