Jalgaon/Ferozepur, Dec 11: A factory manufacturing PVC pipes for irrigation was gutted and crores of rupees worth goods were destroyed in a fire near Jalgaon on Saturday evening.
Ten fire tenders reached the factory belonging to Jain Irrigation. The fire was reportedly caused by electric short circuit.
In Ferozepur, Punjab, a transformer at an electric sub-station caught fire and all efforts to douse the fire proved futile.
Four fire tenders controlled the fire which occured in Guru Harsahay.
