Bathinda military station firing:  At least four casualties have been reported in a firing incident which took place in the morning at around 04:35 am inside Bathinda Military Station today (April 12). The Station Quick Reaction Teams were activated and the area was cordoned off and sealed.  One INSAS rifle with a magazine has been located which had gone missing two days ago. According to initial reports, the firing at the Bathinda Military Station appeared to be an internal issue since a rifle with ammunition had been missing for the last two days, army sources said. Completely ruling out a terror angle in the incident, the ADGP said, "There is no terror angle to the incident. Two days ago, they lodged an FIR in the police station Cantt that a rifle was stolen. That too is being investigated. When the army men will give us the complete information, we will file an FIR on that and the investigation will also be done. This is also a matter of the army, it will be investigated separately from their side also."
