Protesters against gangrape converge at India Gate, march to Rashtrapati Bhawan
New Delhi, Dec 19: Hundreds of agitated people gathered at India Gate here this evening demanding strong action against those involved in brutal rape of a paramedical student while a group marched towards Raisina Hills,
They managed to reach near South Block where they demanded that they should be allowed to meet Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde or Home Secretary R K Singh. Police immediately swung into action barricading Raisina Hills. A large number of policemen were also rushed to the spot.
