Protesters against gangrape converge at India Gate, march to Rashtrapati Bhawan
New Delhi, Dec 19: Hundreds of agitated people gathered at India Gate here this evening demanding strong action against those involved in brutal rape of a paramedical student while a group marched towards Raisina Hills,
The protesters held candles and shouted slogans demanding stringent punishment for the perpetrators.
Visibly incensed, a group of over 200 people broke away from the demonstration at the war memorial and started marching towards Rashtrapati Bhavan, taking police by surprise.
