Faridabad: A march were held here today to protest against the recent killing of two journalists in the country including Jagendra Singh of Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
After the march attended by more than 50 journalists in the city, a memorandum, addressed to the President, was submitted to Deputy Commissioner Amit Kumar Agrawal at his residence.
The memorandum appealed to the President to intervene in the matter and ensure that the culprits are arrested at the earliest.
Singh died earlier this month after he was allegedly set on fire by some policemen and goons under the direction of a state minister. Later in the month, another journalist was killed in Madhya Pradesh allegedly by mining mafias.
