Ahmedabadl: Three short advertisements promoting Gujarat tourism and featuring superstar Amitabh Bachchan were released at a function here by Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Bachchan was also present for the launch of the advertisements called 'Khushboo Gujarat ki' (Fragrance of Gujarat), an official release said.
The ads deal with white desert of Kutch, Gir wildlife sanctuary of Lions and on historic Somnath temple. Bachchan had agreed to be brand ambassador of Gujarat tourism and had shot for promotional advertisements at various locations in Gujarat between May 28 and June 5.
Modi congratulated Bachchan and his team including producer Piyush Pandey for creating what he called "finest advertisements" showcasing the state for promotion of tourism. Bachchan is currently on a five-day visit to the state for shooting some more ad-films for promotion of Gujarat tourism. PTI
