New Delhi: In a public interest decision taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, covey of the President, Vice President and Prime Minister will now be stopped to give a way to ambulance and emergency vehicles.
According to sources, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will soon be tabling Road Safety and Transport Bill 2014 proposing the same.
Sources said that the Ministry has already prepared a draft in this regard.
The same will be forwarded to the Cabinet Secretary within two weeks, an official said.
