New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted the citizens of Thailand on their National Day.
In a massage to the people of Thailand, the President said, “Greetings and felicitations to people of Thailand on the occasion of National Day.”
“India and Thailand have deep rooted ties spread over centuries, confident it will strengthen for mutual benefit,” he added.
The Prime Minister said, "Warm greetings to people of Thailand on their National Day. Strong ties with Thailand remain a key priority for us."
December 5 is observed as the National Day in Thailand. It also commemorates the birthday of the King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej.
