Journalist and pollster Pradeep Bhandari has been appointed as the national spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) by chief JP Nadda, PTI reported on Tuesday.
Bhandari, a journalist who runs a psephology firm 'Jan Ki Baat', is now the national spokesperson of the party. He has worked as a journalist for different channels and has regularly done surveys during the Assembly and general elections.
In a post on X, Bhandari thanked PM Modi for "giving me a chance to serve the country and contribute to his mission of Viksit Bharat 2047"
"I thank Honorable PM @narendramodi ji for giving me a chance to serve the country and contribute in his mission of Viksit Bharat 2047. I thank party president @JPNadda ji, Home Minister @AmitShah ji, National Organization Secretary @blsanthosh ji for giving me the chance to serve the party. Jai Hind."
The BJP's website lists a total of 30 national spokespersons, excluding Bhandari, headed by Lok Sabha MP Anil Baluni.
