Poll campaign in Seemandhra to end tomorrow

Hyderabad: A high decibel election campaign, marked by vitriolic accusations, for the 175 assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats in Seemandhra would come to an end tomorrow. Braving scorching heat in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema,

Jaganmohan Reddy, his mother Y S Vijayamma, who is the honorary president of YSRCP, and sister Sharmila have been canvassing for the success of the party.

Kiran Kumar Reddy has been campaigning for the JSP extensively, though the fledgling outfit suffered early setbacks after some prominent leaders left the party.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi, vice-president Rahul Gandhi have addressed poll campaign rallies to boost the prospects of the ruling party, which is projected to suffer reverses in residuary Andhra Pradesh on account of state's bifurcation.

Chiranjeevi, Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee president N Raghuveera Reddy have toured the regions in support of Congress candidates.

CPI(M) polit bureau member Sitaram Yechury, a native of Coastal Andhra, took part in electioneering for the candidates of the Left.
