Parliament Session 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the Motion of Thanks on the President's Address in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. Before his speech in Parliament, Modi addressed the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) parliamentary party meeting, marking his first address to the ruling bloc's MPs since securing his third term in office. PM Modi's reply comes a day after Rahul Gandhi's impactful maiden speech as the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha. In his 62-minute address, Gandhi tackled a range of contentious issues including the ethnic conflict in Manipur, the NEET controversy, the Agnipath scheme for military recruitment, the farm crisis, inflation, and the politics of hate.
