Ahead of Thursday's Foreign Minister-level talks, Pakistan expressed disappointment over Home Secretary G K Pillai's remarks on ISI's involvement in the Mumbai terror attack citing leads from LeT operative David Headley's interrogation.
"The remarks are very disappointing, especially coming on the eve of Indo-Pak talks," a top official in the Pakistan government said. The official was responding to remarks attributed to the Indian Home Secretary that ISI had a "much more significant" role to play in the 26/11 plot than earlier thought.
Pillai had cited the information provided by Headley regarding the involvement of the Pakistani spy agency and JuD chief Hafiz Saeed during interrogation by FBI and Indian investigators. Foreign Minister S M Krishna today arrived here for talks with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi and is expected to ask Islamabad to take concrete action against terror groups operating from its territory against India.
