No-Confidence Motion: Opposition's No-Confidence Motion against the Modi government has been defeated in the Lok Sabha by voice vote.

The Opposition has brought the No-Confidence Motion on the Manipur violence issue.

During his reply in the Lok Sabha on the no-trust motion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it (No-Confidence Motion) has always been lucky for the BJP-NDA government and it assures that in the next elections, they will win with a bigger margin.

The Prime Minister took a dig at the Opposition saying that it has brought the No-Confidence Motion but didn't prepare it well.

He advised them to come prepared when they bring the No-Confidence Motion in 2028.

Today's No-Confidence Motion against the Narendra Modi government which was defeated through a voice vote was the 28th such motion to be admitted in the Lower House, data compiled by a think tank shows, and all previous ones have either been defeated or remained inconclusive.
