Lucknow/Gonda, May 7: One of the twins born to Zaibunissa on the running Kushinagar Express has died in their native village in Gonda district of Uttar Pradesh on Monday evening.
Zaibunissa and her twins were in Kamaria village of Gonda district. She was returning home from Mumbai by Kushinagar express with her husband. When the train was between Kanpur and Lucknow, she suffered labour pangs, and women passengers inside the coach, vacated some berths, to facilitate the birth of twins.
At the Charbagh railway station in Luckcnow, Zaibunissa and her twins were taken out of the train and rushed to a hospital, from where after initial care, they were sent back to their village.
Zaibunissa had earlier also given birth to twins in her village.
