Bhubaneswar: A large part of Odisha has been experiencing rain and it is likely to continue for three more days in view of a low pressure over the Bay of Bengal, a bulletin issued by the Met office here said.
"The rain is being experienced due to the Low Pressure Area over the North West Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Odisha and West-Central Bay of Bengal," it said.
"Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over the coastal areas of Odisha and adjoining areas of the Northwest Bay of Bengal, a low pressure area has formed over the Northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining coastal areas of Odisha and the West-Central Bay of Bengal at 0830 hours IST today," the bulletin said.
Rain or thundershower would occur in some places in the state, while heavy rainfall in one or two places in southern part of the state during next 24 hours, it said.
