Patna, Jul 28: The Patna chief judicial magistrate has issued a non bailable warrant against senior IAS officer C.K.Anil in a case involving theft of computer and other files from the offices of Biscomaun, a state level agriculture marketing cooperative federation.
Police said, the warrant will be executed once they receive it from the court.
C.K. Anil came into limelight when he destroyed the den of RJD strongman and terror of Siwan Mohammed Shahabuddin as DM of Siwan.
Anil was unavailable for comment today as he kept himself locked inside his residence.
The neighbours confirmed they had seen Anil this morning. The non-bailable warrant was issued on July 23.
The complaint case was filed against C.K. Anil when he was MD of Biscomaun. It was filed by Ramkaleshwar Prasad Singh, director, Biscomaun on 4th Dec, 2012.
There was a theft of computer and other files from the room of the chairman of Biscomaun.
C.K.Anil was again in controversy recently when he was posted in agriculture department and he ordered staff not to put chandan tika on forehead which was opposed by the Secretariat staff association.
Nitish government has kept Anil on waiting for posting as departmental proceedings have been initiated against him.
