Noida: The Federation of Noida Residents' Welfare Association (FONRWA), an umbrella body of Noida's RWAs, is likely to raise the issue of a toll-free DND before Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
FONRWA has filed a PIL in the Allahabad high court on the same issue and will meet the chief minister after hearing on February 23.
N P Singh, FONRWA president, said that they will talk to Kejriwal after observing HC's decision. The federation has already met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav regarding their demand. Singh said the issue is pertinent to both Delhi and UP and that is why it is necessary to meet newly elected Delhi CM to request him to look into the issue on a priority basis.
Following their discussion with UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav, the issue has been pending with the Noida Authority chairman.
Other than a toll-free DND flyway, a massive drive for freehold property for all the residents in Noida is also on the agenda of FONRWA.
N P Singh said they will not hesitate to launch an agitation if their demands go unheard.
