Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is hell bent on punishing corrupt officials in a record time here.
He held a video conference with all the district magistrates and superintendents of police here on Wednesday to enquire about corruption cases involving public servants and speedy trial in such cases.
According to the reports more than 500 employees are facing corruption charges and departmental proceedings against 187 are in the final stages, the chief minister has ordered dismissal of all corrupt officials within two months after completing departmental proceedings and other formalities.
