Patna: The National Investigation Agency, probing into the Patna's serial blasts, Friday detained a youth who helped one of the arrested terror suspects, a police official said.
The NIA has detained Saddam Hussain who was in touch with Arshad Alam and Mohammad Imtiaz Ansari, two of the four arrested terror suspects.
"NIA officials have interrogated Hussain who is a close relative of a Bihar government official," the official said.
According to police officials, NIA have gathered information on the basis of interrogation of arrested terror suspect that Alam stayed at the residence of Hussain before the blasts for recce purpose.
Six people died and more than 80 were injured when half-a-dozen bombs exploded in Patna Oct 27, most of them in and around the sprawling Gandhi Maidan where Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi later addressed a rally.
The seventh explosion was at the Patna railway station.
Ainul alias Tarique, a suspect in a bomb explosion at the railway station died Friday at a hospital here due to his injuries.
