Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today left for a week-long visit to New Delhi during which he would meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other central ministers, official sources said.
“I have sought an appointment to meet the Prime Minister. Besides, I will also meet some other central ministers and discuss on Odisha matters,” Patnaik told reporters before leaving for the national capital.
This is Patnaik's first trip to national capital after taking charge as Chief Minister of the state Odisha for the fourth consecutive term.
Besides, Patnaik is also scheduled to attend the BJD Parliamentary Party meeting there and meet some other politicians of other parties, sources said.
