New Delhi: In the scheduled itinerary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's US visit, some changes has been made at the last moment. Modi's US visit, which was to kisk-start from September 26 will now start from September 25, a day ahead, beacuse of the night landing curfew in Germany. He will land in New York 5 hours ahead of his schedule.
Night flights - those between 11 pm and 5 am - have been banned in Frankfurt, Europe's third busiest airport, since 2011 following complaints by local residents about the noise.
His plane - the Air India One - will halt in Germany's Frankfurt before beginning the trans-Atlantic leg of the journey.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to US will focus on strengthening the bilelateral ties between the two nations.
On September 27, Modi will address the UN General Assembly and also attend a Global Citizen Festival.
On September 28, PM Modi will address Indian-American Community at Madison Square Garden.

On September 30, the fifth India-US Energy Summit will be inaugurated in Washington as well PM Modi will meet Barack Obama at The White House.
This is the maiden US visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the 2002 Gujarat riots, Narendra Modi was denied a US Visa.
