A key attraction near Chakrata is the waterfall named Tiger Fall. A secluded -nearby, leafy hamlet of Deoban offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas stretching from Kinnaur to Garhwal and Kumaon. 4. MirikMirik is a picturesque tourist spot nestled in the serene hills of Darjeeling district in West Bengal.The centre of all attraction is the Sumendu lake, surrounded by a garden on one side and pine trees on the other and linked together by an arching footbridge called Indreni Pull (Rainbow Bridge). A 3.5-km-long road encircles the lake and is used for walks with the view of Kangchenjunga on the far horizon. 5. SANDAKFUwhich is known as the sleeping Buddha or the sleeping Shiva. Sandakphu can be reached by trekking. The trekking starts from Maneybhanjang via Chitirey, Meghma, Tonglu, Tumling, Gairibas, KalaPokhri, Bekhey to Sandakphu. Sandakfu is the highest peak in the state of West Bengal. It is situated at the edge of the Singalila National Park in Darjeeling district on the West Bengal-Sikkim border, and is the highest point of the Singalila Ridge. From Sandakphu the best view of the mountain Kanchenjangha is possible. 6. CHAUKORIChaukori is a tiny hill station in the Pithoragarh district set among the lofty peaks, of the western Himalayan Range in the Kumaon Division of Uttarakhand. From Chaukori we can have an amazing look of Himalyas. Here Gangolihat, 35 km away, is an important religious centre. 7.LANSDOWNELansdowne is a cantonment town in Pauri Garhwal district of Uttarakhand. The War Memorial, at the Parade Ground of the Garhwal Rifles Center is an attraction for the visitors. Places of interest around the city are Tip n Top Viewing (offers excellent views of surrounding shivaliks) Santoshi Mata Temple, Regimental Museum (also called the Darwan Singh Sanghralaya), Bhulla Taal, St. Mary's Church, Lover's lane.
