Jaipur, Jan 19: A Muslim outfit of Rajasthan today appealed the Congress to provide justice to the victims of 2011 Gopalgarh violence, in which 10 Muslims were killed.
The appeal has come when a two-day 'Chintan Shivir' of the Congress is going on in the city.
Around 50 members of the Rajasthan Muslim Forum held a demonstration at MD Road and alleged that innocent Muslims were "targeted" and put behind bars after the violence and such people should be released without further delay.
"Congress's leaders are converged here in Chintan Shivir and the party's top brass should direct the Rajasthan government to provide justice to the victims," Mohammad Salim, secretary of Jamat-e-Islami Hind said.
