Nehru Memorial Museum
Located on the Teen Murti Marg in Delhi, the Nehru Memorial Museum was founded in 1964 after the death of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
Earlier a residence of the British Commander-in-Chief during the British Raj, the Nehru Memorial Museum was designed by a famous architect named Robert Tor Russel.
The colonial style building which was also once a residence of Jawaharlal Nehru, who stayed for around 16 years, preserve and reconstruct the history of the Indian independence movement.
The library along with museum comprises of bulk of Mahatma Gandhi's writings.
A digitization project for the archives of the library was launched in March 2010.
