Mumabi: Konkan Coastline of Maharashtra has been receiving massive rainfall since today morning causing local administration to issue alert in the area.
Districts of Ratanagiri, Singhdurg and Raigarh are severely affected as rain continuous to lash over the area.
Due to this hefty downpour, water level in rivers i.e. Amberi, Karli and Gaad has gone tremendously high. After which at least 27 villages have lost contact with the rest of the city.
Mumbai-Goa highway witnessed four-hour long traffic jam due to the continuous rains in the area.
Weather Department has forecasted that the rains can continue to lash the coastline for another two days.
