Morena Blast: A powerful blast in a house, where illegal fricrackers were stored, killed at least four people and injured several others in Banmore town of Madhya Pradesh's Morena district on Thursday.
"Cannot with confidence point out the reason for the blast, wether it was a firecracker or something else. Four have yet died, several of 7 injured are critical. At least one child who was buried under debris has been rescued," District Magistrate B Karthikeyan said.
The impact of the blast was so severe that the ground-plus-one-storey structure was reduced to rubble, while two nearby houses were damaged, reports said.
