Aligarh/ Baghpat, Jun 21 : A woman was allegedly raped by a police constable Bhagwandas in Aligarh on Monday night.
According to the victim, the constable came to her house at around 10 PM to arrest her son who is accused in a quarrel, and when he did not find him, he took the
woman forcibly to the police station, and on the way raped her along with another constable.
When the woman tried to lodge a complaint in the police station, she was shooed away. The victim alleged, she fell ill after the rape and was taken to the district
hospital where the act of rape was confirmed. But the local police says the medical report doesn't prove rape.
Aligarh SSP said that the woman's husband and son are accused in a case and to save themselves from the case they are making false charges of rape against the police.
In Baghpat, a 14-year-old girl was gangraped by four persons- Manoj, Devendra Singh, Sunil and Rajeev Kumar.- in Dhakauli near Chandinagar. After the medical
examination confirmed rape, the police arrested only Manoj. The remaining three miscreants threatened victim's family to withdraw the case or be ready to face action.
The family members informed the police about it but the cops took no action. Finally on Sunday night, Loka's uncle Satyapal was shot dead by Sunil, Rajeev Kumar and
one of their associate identified as Satish Singh. Only after the killing, the senior officers swung into action and suspended SHO and one constable on Monday.
