New Delhi, Nov 2: The allure of ‘henna art' used traditionally for skin decoration continues to remain popular in modern times and sees an upsurge during festivals like Karva Chauth, Diwali and Eid.Way past business




Another shop owner points out that “mehndi is more than jewellery” and now people of all caste and religion have taken a liking to the art. We get a lot of customers during Eid too.”



A newly-married couple from Noida who dropped in here, on suggestion of a friend say they were in for an impressive surprise.

“Well, it's just 10 months into marriage and our first visit here but I say, it's pretty impressive. And, though my wife is quite adept at applying henna, she wanted to experience the bridal journey, so she came here,” says Mayank Kaushik, a consultant.
