Meet the man from Hyderabad who types with his nose

New Delhi: A 23 year old man Mohammed Khurshid Hussain from Hyderabad has set up the Guinness World Record for typing a 103-word sentence in the shortest time, with his nose.Hussain is the youngest Muslim Guinness record holder. He learned typing at the age of 7. His mother Qudsia taught him the skill and she asks him to always practice Islamic teachings.It is Husain's second achievent for Guinness as he already holds the Guinness World Record for typing the English language alphabet in the shortest amount of time, 3.43 seconds, on a keyboard with his fingers.Guinness World Record asked Husain to type the sentence ‘Guinness World Records have challenged me to type this sentence using my nose in the fastest time'.The event took place on February 2, 2012, from 10.45 am to noon at the Sardar Patel Auditoriun, KMIT, in Hyderabad with several members of the press in attendance.According to the Guinness World Record accounts Husain performed the feat in the presence of S. M. Arif, Padmashree and Dronacharya awardee; Mohteshyam Ali, silver medallist at the Mr. World body building championship; Naina Jaiswal, an international table tennis player; and Iftekhar Shareef, who acted as witnesses for the record-breaking attempt.Husain wrote a 103-character sentence in just 47 seconds after practicing his technique for six hours a day.Husain has broke the record of another Indian girl named Neeta, who achieved the feat in one minute and 33 seconds at Guinness World Records Pavilion in Global Village, Dubai, UAE, on November 16, 2008.
