Mau: Five school children were killed and 17 others seriously injured after a train rammed into a school bus at an unmanned railway crossing in Uttar Pradesh's Mau today.
All injured kids were immediately rushed to a nearest hospital for emergency medical aid.
As soon as the railway and local administration officials were informed about the incident, they rushed to spot and cordoned off the area.
When the accident occurred, there were many students in the bus and the incident took place while the students were going to school.
As of now, all trains passing through this route have been suspended.
Meanwhile, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu and MoS for Railways Manoj Sinha are leaving for the accident site in Mau.
