Sonipat (Haryana), Apr 24: A married woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself over dowry harassment in Saboli village of the district, police said yesterday.
On the basis of a complaint by her family members, a case has been registered against the husband, his parents and brother.
Her body has been sent for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, in another case, a woman was found dead in Mayur Vihar colony under mysterious circumstances after allegedly consuming some poisonous substance.
Her family members have blamed the husband and alleged it to be a case of dowry death, they said.
