Ramgarh, May 18 : Maoists on Thursday night set fire to a hi-tech tractor, a Tata 307 truck, another tractor, a JCB and a mixer, belonging to Siddharth construction company in Jobhia village of Ramgarh

Ramgarh, May 18 : Maoists on Thursday night set fire to a hi-tech tractor, a Tata 307 truck, another tractor, a JCB and a mixer, belonging to Siddharth construction company in Jobhia village of Ramgarh district.



Local villagers were unwilling to disclose about the incident fearing retribution.

The Maoists put up posters on the scene demanding a halt to Operation Green Hunt.

SP Ramgarh Anish Gupta alongwith India Reserve securitymen raided the area, but no Maoists were found.

The construction company is engaged in road building in the district, which the Maoists are opposing.
