Manish Sisodia arrest LIVE: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will remain in CBI custody for now as the Rouse Avenue Court on Monday (February 27) granted his 5-day remand to the central agency which is probing the liquor (excise) policy case. Sisodia will remain in CBI custody till March 4, when the court will hear the matter next. The CBI told the court that Sisodia was not co-operating in investigations. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held protests in Delhi as well as in Chandigarh, Bhopal, Mumbai against their leader's arrest. The senior AAP leader was arrested late on Sunday (February 27) by CBI after eight hours of questioning in the now-scrapped liquor policy in Delhi. The AAP described the arrest of party leader Sisodia as the "height of dictatorship" and a "black day for democracy" saying it will take to the streets across the country against the arrest of Sisodia. The party said the BJP "carried out" the arrest due to political vendetta and said God will not forgive Prime Minister Narendra Modi for it.
