New Delhi, May 13: A 24-year-old unemployed man was arrested here yesterdayfor clubbing his wife to death as she refused to give him Rs.2,000, police said.
Shanu killed his wife Pinki, 20, in Burari area in north Delhi early morning, police said.
A neighbour informed police about the murder, police said.
Police reached the spot and found Shanu in the house. He told them that he killed his wife as she refused to give him Rs.2,000 Saturday night.
The two got married three years ago and had a one-year son, police said.
