At least three people were killed and six others injured in a blast at a oxygen factory in Lucknow. According to reports, the explosion took place during refilling of oxygen cylinders in Chinhat area of the state capital.
"While refilling of cylinders, one of the cylinders exploded. Three people have died so far. One injured is being treated at RML Hospital while four others have been shifted to Trauma Centre," DK Thakur, Lucknow Police Commissioner said. He added that efforts were on to ascertain the identity of the deceased.

Offering condolence to families of those killed in the incident, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed top officials to rush to the spot to supervise the relief and rescue.
The CM has also ordered a probe to investigate the cause of the explosion.
