Kadapa (AP): Lok Satta Party yesterday put off its ongoing 'Telugu Tejam' yatra for forging amity among Telugu people till further notice.
Lok Satta vice president B. Rammohan Rao who made the announcement here did not give any reason for the decision.
Addressing a press conference he said, "protesters should respect constitutional rights of the people and allow freedom of expression".
The Lok Satta Party chief Jayaprakash Narayan who launched the yatra from Kurnool yesterday faced the wrath of Samikhyandhra protesters. They alleged that Narayan was speaking against the united state.
