Newly formed Haryana govt to face floor test tomorrow | HIGHLIGHTS
The BJP on Tuesday named OBC leader Nayab Singh Saini as Haryana’s new chief minister, hours after the surprise resignation of Manohar Lal Khattar from the post along with his cabinet ministers.
Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Haryana on Tuesday witnessed fast-paced developments after Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar along with his entire Cabinet resigned from their posts amid a rift with the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) possibly over the seat-sharing issue. Soon after Khattar and his ministers' resignation, the BJP held its legislative party meeting in which Nayab Singh Saini's name was proposed as the next chief minister. An RSS member and a saffron party loyal, Nayab Singh Saini took oath as Chief Minister along with five other MLAs who sworn in as ministers in the new Haryana government. Stay tuned.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini thanked his predecessor Manohar Lal Khattar, saying the former CM gave Haryana a direction.
"Our newly formed cabinet wants to thank former CM Manohar Lal Khattar. He has given Haryana a new direction and has given the best example of good governance. He did development work in the state without any discrimination," he added.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini thanked PM Modi, party president JP Nadda, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and other senior leaders of the party for giving him the responsibility to run the government.
