Patna: Gujarat chief minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi met Patna serial blast victims' relatives in their villages in Bihar today, but his helicopter visit was marred by bad weather. "We are with

1:10 pm: Modi returns to Patna.  His helicopter trips to Gopalganj and Supaul have been cancelled due to bad weather. Spoke to families of both blast victims over telephone and consoled them.

11:30 am: Bad weather prevents Modi from leaving for Gopalganj. Pilot decides to return to Patna for refuelling.

10:45 am: Modi reaches Kaimur. Meets another blast victim's family.

9:48 am: Chopper arrives in Gaurichak. Modi goes to meet blast victim Raj Narayan Singh's family. Sits on the floor with victim's relatives, consols them, hands over Rs 5 lakh cheque and leaves, as he is already too late.

BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad says, two of Raj Narain's sons work in the army. "We did not call anyone, but nearly 5,000 people from nearby villages came to see Modi. This shows the affection of people towards him. It was very emotional".

9:20 am: Chopper carrying Modi leaves for Gaurichak.

8:40 am: Modi's departure for Gaurchak delayed as low visibility continues.

7 am: Fog envelops Patna airport, as Modi reaches airport to begin his day's helicopter trip to six villages. BJP MLA Nitin Naveen says, visibility is quite low and they are awaiting Air Traffic Controller's signal.
