New Delhi: Sunanda Pushkar was a high-profile businesswoman. Her marriage to Shashi Tharoor was her third. Her first marriage was to a business man named Sanjay Raina who was from Kashmir. After that marriage ended in divorce, she married Sujith Menon, another businessman who was killed in a car crash in 1997. Pushkar will be survived by her son from that marriage, Shiv Menon.Shiv is now 21 year old. He is the only child of Sunanda.He was born and brought up in Dubai.Media report say, Shiv is an aspiring actor and is likely to make a Bollywood debut soon. He has been a student at Anupam's acting school.At IIFAawards 2011 held in Toronto, the late Sunanda Pushkar told a newspaper how she nursed Bollywood dreams for her son.According to that report in Mail Today, Sunanda said “ My son Shiv is a huge Bollywood buff and is hoping to work in films one day,” she said , adding that the young man was learning the art of film-making. Shiv had also enrolled himself in Anupam Kher's Acting School in Mumbai and was a regular at the local gym to get into shape before he started to make rounds for auditions.Reportedly, Sunanda always tried to keep his son in limelight. Shiv was spotted hobnobbing with Bollywood biggies at IIFA 2011.Shiv is left alone after the death of his mother Sunanda,earlier he lost his father at the young age of four.Recently Shiv has sent a letter to the media, denying that his mother would have committed suicide and adding that Shashi Tharoor would never have killed her. Menon said that he had been compelled to speak out because he had been ‘devastated' by the news coverage around the death of his mother. “Anyone who knew my mother would know she was simply too strong to commit suicide”, the letter said, adding that “I also do not believe that Shashi was capable of physically harming her let alone take her life”.
