Ulhasnagar Asst Municipal Commissioner thrashed by Shiv Sainiks

Ulhasnagar (Maharashtra): A group of local women activists led by Shiv Sena town chief Rajendra Chaudhary today thrashed Yuvraj Badhane, assistant municipal commissioner of Ulhasnagar, during an inspection of illegal constructions.

Badhane was badly beaten up and he had to be admitted to hospital.

The official was carrying out a survey of illegal constructions in Indira Nagar when the Shiv Sainiks accosted him and began to beat him up.

So far nobody has been arrested.
